Krucial adds senior appointments to bolster growth plans

Scottish scaleup Krucial, which utilises space technology to provide digital monitoring solutions for organisations with remote and dispersed assets, has announced two senior appointments to its commercial and executive team as it gears up for continued global growth.
Graham Lenden joins Krucial’s Executive Team as Chief Commercial Officer, while Anna Dawson comes in as Head of Energy. These two additions to the commercial team will see a new era for Krucial as they drive growth globally across high value industries such as aquaculture, energy, infrastructure and food security.
Graham Lenden has more than 30 years of experience in global executive leadership roles spanning across the automotive and technology industries, including as Head of Product Marketing at Bentley, Chief Marketing Officer of Aston Martin, UK/APAC Sales Director for Aston Martin and Chief Marketing Officer of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. More recently Graham was global Chief Commercial & Investment Officer of Saietta Group, an innovative electric drivetrain technology company in which he was instrumental in taking to IPO. With an impressive track record of guiding both established blue-chip brands and tech start-ups alike, Graham joins Krucial to drive the commercial team into continued global growth.
Anna Dawson spent over 10 years working across the energy, oil and gas and mining sectors with roles focused on strategy and business development at brands including Deloitte and Equinor. Anna then moved from energy to satellite technology, joining Terrabotix in 2018 where she held an executive role as Chief of Staff driving commercial success. Anna joins Krucial as Head of Energy where she will be leading on commercial expansion into the energy sector.
Commenting on the appointments, Krucial co-founder and CEO Allan Cannon said: “I am excited to welcome Graham and Anna to our team. Their expertise and experience are a significant addition, bringing new skills, network and insight to our journey. With our certified digital solutions now shipping worldwide, Graham and I will drive the commercial side of the business to build our customer and partner portfolio, whilst Anna will expand the adoption of Krucial technology in the energy sector.
“2024 was the most important year yet for Krucial commercially, having deployed our digital solutions across the globe and strengthened our offering with strategic partnerships such as Syrinx and Bentley Systems – and 2025 is shaping up to follow that trajectory. This growth, combined with the building of our senior team, speaks to the quality of our products and the huge opportunity that we are pursuing to digitise remote locations, enabling full connectivity, to add significant value to our customer’s operations.”
Graham Lenden, Chief Commercial Officer at Krucial, added: “I am pleased to have recently joined Krucial and to welcome Anna to this talented team which is executing strongly on an ambitious business plan. I was attracted by the strength of the value proposition and the team, under Allan’s leadership, which is helping unlock the potential of IoT and enabling our customers to access the true value of their data. The next year will see the business continue to grow, and I am looking forward to working alongside Allan and the team to reach our exciting goals.”
Anna Dawson, Head of Energy at Krucial, said: “I am excited to move the dial in the energy sector with Krucial’s technology. As we enter a digitised era, the technology is a game changer – enhancing social and environmental responsibility while reducing reliance on manual monitoring methods.
